Accommodation Program
At Carrie's Place, we have 3 types of support and homelessness relief. These services are for women, men and children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. These services include:
Women and Children’s Refuge
Our refuge can accommodate up to 6 small to large families at a time. Clients are provided with on-site intensive support including parenting, mental health, financial and material aid with the ultimate goal to transition into medium to long-term accommodation.
Transitional Accommodation
We have accommodation for single women and families. Women and families can stay in these properties for up to 12 months and receive case management support whilst building a rental history to increase their chances of success in the private rental market.
DVRE (Domestic Violence Response Enhancement)
We have 3 properties used for short-term accommodation for clients who are at high risk due to domestic violence. Clients receive intensive support to stay safe and are then supported into medium to long-term accommodation.
Access to accommodation is limited and based on availability at time of request.
The service is funded by The NSW Government Department of Communities and Justice.

Supported Temporary Accommodation Programs
Delivered in partnership with Hume Housing, we provide short-term accommodation to people who are homeless, have nowhere to stay short-term and are needing intensive support to find medium to long-term accommodation.
